Global Weather Changes
Today was the hottest day on record in San Francisco’s history at 104 degress Fahrenheit.
Irma comin
Irma comin
Yeah category 5 now approaching Florida. Hope everything will be okay. Meanwhile, LA battles largest fire in the city’s history.
Caribbean already wrecked
Timelapse is terrifying , like approaching doom
atleast its good warning before storm to wrap shit up and leave for vacations elsewhere instead of getting stuck
And still people keep flying to the other side of the planet for vacations by the thousands.
These past couple of weeks have been really intense when it comes to natural disasters. Mexico got hit by an 8.2 earthquake, the strongest in a century.

It was so strong it was felt 450 miles away in Mexico City.

When it comes to global warming and natural catastrophies, there is no other side of the planet and nowhere to hide, unless somehow we can build an Elysium in space. The Netherlands as I remember from school is called that because it is under sea level, so as the ocean water levels continue to rise, it will definitely have an effect.
Mass exodus begins
Run like hell

Europe has its own tsunami of refugees
When it comes to global warming and natural catastrophies
Add fukushima to the mix,
Traces were found even in iceland and vancouver
Even more invisible killer
Thanks Japan
If you do the sums you will see that that picture is just plain and simple fearmongery. Don’t you think it’s mighty strange that no measures are taken to protect the people living there dispite the west coast being ‘absolutely fried?’

That is why our government was forced by a judge yesterday to do something about the air quality here. Our government has an apalling record in lowering CO2 levels. We are just about the worst in the EU when it comes to lowering our CO2 emissions. Last year emissions even increased by 1%. Our goverment does next to nothing in encouraging people to buy electric cars, and on top of that they just increased our speed limit to 130 km/h and are building a new airport so Schiphol can keep growing unrestrained like it has done since it was first built. In 2020 Schiphol will get yet another 100000 starts and landings on top of the 500000 it may handle yearly now.
The worst part is that our government is proud of their hard work in cleaning the environment. But the thing is: what they do to reduce CO2 is more than compensated for by other things. The Netherlands is one of the dirtiest places in Europe and our government seems keen on keeping it that way.
We are now in the proces of forming a new coalition. Again with the liberal party (never good for the environment) and two Christian parties (for some reason not good for human rights, and also not keen on inproving air quality). So I don’t have any faith in the new government with regard to improving their behaviour. But with solar cells getting cheaper and cheaper and more and more affordable and usable electric cars on the market, hopefully they will be bypassed by technology.

Don’t feel too bad about it. Even in San Francisco, which is the most liberal city in the US and which has the highest percentage of hybrid cars in the whole country, hybrid cars only account for 10 percent of all car sales. For the whole US, that percentage goes down to 3

They might be neglible now, there are plenty of realtime stats models i checked year ago which showed the radiation getting to west coast by 2020 and onwards, long halflife of the element they were talking about(maybe cesium)
Not to mention sealife being affected
As far as measures go, not even japan took many inside its country
There are documentaries detailing corruption and hiding the magnitude
I even dropped my trip due to radiation, mainly in groceries and sea salt, being procured and end up in your ramen or seafood dishes, bread and butter of Japanese food economy
Better be safe than sorry
More fires are ravaging California. This time it is close to home in Sonoma and Napa. 21 reported dead and 100’s missing. This is the third major fire in the span of few months to hit Cali after the fires in Yosemite and LA.
Straight up Fallout4 stuff
Stay safe

Woah, that really is.
Literal devastation.
