I noticed that there’s always a thread (in the topics list) with a huge blank space around it, like this:

It’s not a big deal, but I’m curious why this happens.

Feels like space for a square ad.

It shouldn’t reserve that space when there isn’t any advertising being displayed, I’ll look to see if I can somehow influence this.

I don’t know whether you’ve changed something, but there’s now an advertising space that is covering the top menu of the site on mobile, which is making it completely unusable.

I can switch to ‘Desktop site’ mode and can get to the menu that way, but it’s not ideal.

Appreciate the patience in my getting back here, was out with Covid for a few days… I looked into ensuring that these ‘AI’ driven ad positions are no longer active, I was under the impression I had disabled these all-together but they were still on for the forums. This should now no longer be the case.
