Ghost of a Tale
well i am getting tired, uhh
but this is something that can not be denied or to forget about, Ghost of a Tale is about courageous mouse and minstrel on a perilous adventure.
The game is mostly being developed by one person, Seith, with a little help from his friends.
but it looks tremendous and amazingly beautiful, it’s an Action, Adventure, Stealth, RPG.
follow it on steam

Its legit good.
Also charming.
I love the mouse and chats with npcs, music is pleasant too.
Its easy to fall in love with this game.
It has normal stealth, but fun , only because animations and sounds of mouse enemies.
But enemies are easy to dodge, and once you hit hidden spots they get braindead.
It has darksouls atmosphere but not brooding.
Large connected maps, great level design and effort which again shows that Indies have got good grip on shitting on AAAs.
Inside, NomansSky, WehappyFew etc No small feats
Finished, 5 to 6 hrs, good for the price.
Great experience, better than Elderscrolls Oblivion in gameplay and graphics.
Music in conversations is melodious.
Charming hero, i wish you could play lute tunes , learn new songs and such, can add a lot more to the immersion.
Art,atmosphere, environments, leveldesign creates wonderful feeling, mix of oldschool games and movies like TheLabyrinth.
Animations are top quality.
EA alone had plenty of armours.
Runs pretty great on integrated chipset.
Random quests in convuluted level designs, backtracking to learn new skills and get new items.
Dont know if it could benefit from Voice acting.
Ended on bad cliffhanger, but the Dev knows his shit, and any sensible publisher should pick this game fund this shit like no tomorrow.
It has scope and potential to be most unique and fun stealth ARPG.

Nice impressions, will be keeping an eye on it.
I’ve played another Early Access game - We Happy Few - and was disappointed, it has great style but after the initial part (seen at E3) it’s a basic survival game with random generated stuff that gets repetitive. They said they’ll be adding more story mode in the final release so I think it’s better to just wait.

Yes, its missing story and cutscenes so its useless EA.
Buy Ghost of tale, Dev needs money.
Saying because you can buy and you will eventually get full game so no loss.
I first heard of this game at one of microsoft indie showcases and fell in love with right away. It’s really sad that it got so quite around the game. I hope it’ll eventually make the jump on the Xbox.

Indeed, it is.Reminded me 2d Oddworld games have similar enchanting style
do you remember any other titles that hero doesn’t fight back.
“Going on means going far - Going far means returning”

Technically you can hit enemies in both Oddworld and GOtale, in former by possession/traps and in later by melee attacks.
As far as unique style and themes go, i found this upcoming game somewhat similar and
unique,
Refreshing
Wilco you check it too
Dont know how they pulled it off onunity
