Im always on the look out for VNs that are heavy on adventure mechanics: phoenix wright, danganronpa,somnium files,zero escape. Its a unique blend when the style of a novel game also gets puzzles that make you actively think, interact and explore. So when i stumbled into paranormasight: the seven mysteries of honjo, i was hooked pretty quick. Its got a nice aesthetic, creepy music, a bit of small jump scares, and a story with some nice depth. What it doesnt have is voice acting, which is a shame, but a really good story and atmosphere can make up for that. Its also pretty creative with how it handles puzzles, thats all ill say about that. I have not quite finished it, but its impressed me enough that i wanted to give it a shout out for those who also look for this particular kind of hybrid adventure.
