Your Top 100 Adventure Games (Voting Ended)
Please note:
If you have Black Mirror on your list, let me know if you mean the original (The Black Mirror) or the 2017 reboot (Black Mirror).
should i go back and add the year, or make a new post?
So far 16 people submitted their list. What stands out for me is that the diversity in games is enormous and that some of the old classics score highest. I did a very quick count of a few games:
Blade Runner - MI3: 11
GK1 - Grim F - TLJ: 10
MI1 - MI2 - Fate of A: 9
I would have thought that Broken Sword would be in the top 3 as well.

You wrote The Black Mirror, so I assume it’s the old one. Just confirm it one way or the other here.
Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
yeah, it’s Future Games, TBM, 2003
Same with me. The old one.
EDIT: The old Black Mirror (2003)

I forgot all about BS1. Yeah, it scored high as well. The highest scoring non-classic is Life Is Strange, if I’m not mistaken.

Thanks, Advie and DCast!

Chronicle of innsmouth
wow, that IS courageous!
Really? Except for that stupid semaphore puzzle which almost ruined it, I thought it was good game with an actual cthulhu-like feel to it. I played it before the voice-overs where added though.
Gabriel Knight 1
Gabriel Knight 3
Hand of Glory
Indiana Jones and the Fate of AtlantisWow! Thanks for putting The Hand of Glory into your list! And in good company too!
Well deserved, it’s my absolute favourite of the 2020s. Can’t wait for the newly announced sequel

@fiksdal Get off your high horse. The top 100 is not a competition as to who’s top 100 is better. Cast your vote and the results will give us a collective result.
For whom the games toll,
they toll for thee.
i didnt see anyone on a high horse, here
Another note:
If you have The Witness on your list, I will assume you mean Jonathan Blow’s game and not the Infocom text adventure unless you tell me otherwise.
RT,
Expressions of enthusiasm are fine as long as fights don’t break out.

What do you mean? I cast my vote and responded to two comments on my list? What exactly did you take offense from?

Yeah, not a bad game, but it didn’t have the same athmosphere, so it didn’t work that well for me.
