2019 is looking good!
Here are some projects already having my attention. I`m sure some of these will be eventually postponed to 2020, but that`s life.
Strong list already, What do you think
The Beautiful Desolation (The Brotherhood)
Blacksad (Pendulo Studios)
Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness (PsychoDev)
Creaks (Amanita Studios)
Crowns and Pawns (Tag of Joy)
The Cyanide & Happiness Adventure: Freakpocalypse (Cyanide & Happiness)
Draugen (RED Thread Games)
Gibbous (Stuck in Attic)
Guard Duty (Sick Chicken)
Harold Halibut (Slow Bros.)
In the Valley of Gods (Campo Santo)
Life is Strange: Season 2 (DONTNOD Entertainment)
Mage`s Initiation: Reign of the Elements (Himalaya Studios)
The Mystery of Oak Island (Visionaire Studios)
Saint Kotar [kickstarter and release?] (Tanais Games)
Someday You`ll Return (CBE Software)
Space Venture (Guys from Andromeda)
Star Flint (Stunmason Games)
Telling Lies (Sam Barlow prod.)
Tex Murphy: The Poisoned Pawn (Chaotic Fusion / Big Finish Games)
Truberbrook (btf)

3 Minutes to Midnight (Scarecrow Studio)
Playing: 1) Broken Sword 5 2) Road 96
Wow! ‘
yet, the Q is; which or how many of those will get delayed or be disappointing ?
I`m sure there will be delays and disappointments

I hope these wont concern SpaveVenture this year
i see you are playing UI, enjoy it as much as you can, you might not encounter a tradional2D adventure like it for while, by not using walkthrough ever, its f***ing rewarding each time you break thru its puzzle.. and one puzzle at the last quarter of the game stands alone from all the puzzles ever given at adventure games, yeah! very very unique
2019 looks ordinary tbh.
Nothing that really interests me there. The only games I have my eye on are
Lorelai
The Dark Side of the Moon
Forest of Liars
Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy!
Schizm 3 (maybe, depending on reviews. It could be great or awful)
Really interested in all the games on this list:

Also CBE Software published a good list on their FB page.
“Look behind you, a three-headed monkey!”- Guybrush Threepwood
For me it’s
Draugen
Life is Strange 2
Twin Mirror
Walking Dead Final Season
The Blind Prophet (don’t know much about it other than it looks great)
In the Valley of the Gods
Beautiful Desolation
Blacksad (haven’t played a Pendulo game since Yesterday which I wasn’t really a fan of. Didn’t even bother with Yesterday Origins. But Blacksad looks great)
I’m sure there’s a game or two I forgot about that should be on my list. And also I think whatever Daedalic comes up with next year should be good as well
I haven’t decided which will make it into my collection yet. But very likely candidates are:
Gibbous
Twin Mirror
Guard Duty
Harold Halibut
Trüberbrook
The Mystery of Oak Island
Asylum
Whispers of a Machine
Saint Kotar
The Mystery of Woolley Mountain
Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders
Luna: The Shadow Dust
3 Minutes to Midnight
Jennifer Wilde
Rainswept
Minotaur
Jengo
Little Misfortune
The Lighthouse
Crowns and Pawns
A Little Less Desperation
Miguel
Geistfrei GmbH
The last two will be available in German, but I don’t know about a possible English version.
Now I just need take a plane to the Bermuda Triangle and be kidnapped by the Caponians, so I can get the lottery numbers.
If I’m lucky, not all of them will turn out that great, or there will be serious delays until 2020.
Nothing really super-exciting, but maybe that’s a good thing as there’s always possibilities for some unexpected gems to appear.
From what has been mentioned I am most looking forward to Trüberbrook, because it’s so different from other adventure games, it will be interesting to see if such concept actually works or not.
I was more excited when I first heard about Jack Houston and the Necronauts, but as that game probably isn’t going to be out in 2019, maybe Trüberbrook can more or less demonstrate that kind of game-making technique.
I am also hoping that there will be some AGS games that we don’t know about yet. There are often some very interesting game concepts there.

Ooohhh, it’s nice to see Crowns and Pawns on someone’s waiting list! We’ll do our best to release it in 2019.
A lot of great games coming out this year – more and more “mainstream indie” titles (small teams making adventures that have a good chance to be profitable). With bigger companies like Daedalic making less and less classical adventure games, it’s important that there are others who can compensate for those.
Recently released Crowns and Pawns
Very proud of having been part of Broken Sword 2.5

Yep, I just started playing UI and it feels good! I`m trying to repair a car and find that Helliwell guy
Playing: 1) Broken Sword 5 2) Road 96
Also added Draugen (how did i forget that :o ), Crowns and Pawns and Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness in to my waiting list!

I would like to add some very promising games from the AGS community that will hopefully be out in 2019:
Future Flashback
Julia’s Canadian Mystery
Tardigrades
Trails & Traces: The Tomb of Thomas Tew
Zwiw Adventure
truberbrook
st kotar
the mystery of woolley island
and culthula
are the games I am awaiting.
I know I have probably spelt a few
if not all wrong so please grammar police do not knock upon my door.
Happy new year to all and one.
I love the original Blacksad comics so I’m cautiously enthusiastic to see how the game turns out.
Forgotten City looks promising too - I haven’t played the original mod but a time-travel murder mystery set in an underground Roman city sounds great!
