A poll is needed! and since Full Throttle remaster comes out next week and just wondering if there is interest in seeing more of these.
I think that what will probably happen is that none will be remastered since none of them are Schafer’s games but still, they could work out something with Disney.
As for my answer, although Curse of Monkey Island really needs to have a digital distribution, I don’t think it needs a remaster so I would go with Escape to make it at least more playable.
Fate of Atlantis also could use an upgrade since the one available is terrible muddy filter.
Curse needs a remaster as in hi res version and console interface
I am in!
Leave rest
Curse would be the obvious choice, but I feel it looks good enough that, like wilco says, digital distribution would suffice.
I’d love a remastered Sam & Max… but remastered by or under the supervision of Steve Purcell.
Zak and Loom. Then leave the others alone, they are perfect.
They should also remaster all their Star Wars games and make them adventure games.
Voted for The Dig. Doesn’t get the credit it deserves and it would benefit the most from nicer visuals / sounds. FoA is also a good choice but I think it aged very gracefully.
Since Tim was not involved in any other game, I cannot imagine there being anymore remasters from Double Fine in the future.

Regarding Sam and Max, he did say they’d do it if Steve was involved in an interview.
Definitly The Dig. It’s my favorite sci-fi adventure.
Loom, The Dig and Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders. Sam and Max if Steve Purcell is there
Put me down for Loom and Zak as well.
If they do The Dig in this style, then go for it.
My vote goes to Zak McKracken. Double Fine should collaborate with Fox and Gilbert and make it Thimbleweed Park style remake +1 to Dig remaster too.
Playing: 1) Broken Sword 5 2) Road 96
I voted for Zak, but I’d also love to see Maniac Mansion. Obviously for both they should team up with Gilbert and Fox and with both of these games I’d really expect them to do a bit more than just remastering them in terms of game play. Certain mazes come to mind as well as a couple of dead ends.
The Dig — I’d like to see the alien landscapes in higher resolution with appropriate lighting effects.
Voted for Escape From Monkey Island. It was a decent game the music was fantastic but the art were HORRIBLE. I would like to see how it would look with 2D art.
Also I would like Maniac Mansion to be remaked cause right now I just can’t get into the graphics design.
Fate of Atlantis please!
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
I think that what will probably happen is that none will be remastered
This is two questions in a poll posed as one.
The first is which, if any, Lucasarts adventures should be remastered.
The second is whether Double Fine should be in charge of the remastering.
The answer to the first question is I really don’t care.
The answer to the second question is why should Double Fine be charged with the task of remastering anything?
For whom the games toll,
they toll for thee.
