Vote for one game in each versus match that you’d like to see advance to the next round. Feel free to skip any match that you don’t want to vote in.
Voting for this bracket will end on 18 January at 23:59 GMT.
The four games in each bracket that survive their versus match will go on to the next round (the Round of 16), and so on, until only one game remains and wins the tournament for our community’s favorite adventure game.

M1 - Dreamfall
M2 - Under a Killing Moon
M3 - Day of the Tentacle
M4 - The Neverhood
1 - Bladerunner
2 - Tex Murphy
3 - Loom
4 - The Neverhood
1) Dreamfall
2nd or perhaps 3rd best game in The Longest Journey saga, which automatically means it is also one of the 10 best games ever made vs. a game I haven’t played
2) The Longest Journey
Sorry Tex!
UaKM is on my personal top 10 list, but TLJ is on my personal top 1 list
BTW: I just realized that this means that TLJ and Dreamfall will be up against each other in the next round
3) Day of the Tentacle
Pretty much a walkover for DotT
4) No vote - no comment!
You have to play the game, to find out why you are playing the game! - eXistenZ
1. - I don’t particularly like Dreamfall and I haven’t played Blade Runner (because of a used-to-be-friend who spoiled me too much of the storyline), so no vote here.
2. The Longest Journey. While UaKM is my favorite Tex game, TLJ is simply better in almost all aspects as a game and gets my vote.
3. DotT. I like both games and consider them on the same quality, but in the long term, I think DotT stands in time better (no pun intended)
4. - I hate Full Throtle for personal reasons and don’t find the Neverhood something special either (and I still mourn for Riven ), so no vote here as well. Objectively, FT is beter though.
M1: Blade Runner - Story, atmosphere and gameplay experience win here.
M2: Under a Killing Moon - This was a close one. I’m not that fond of both games, but structurally speaking, I think Tex wins here. And frankly TLJ was too boring.
M3: Loom - I would go with Loom here, because that atmosphere is something I rarely experienced even outside of gaming.
M4: Full Throttle - The most difficult choice in this round yet. But I think Full Throttle needs to be taken as a true roll-model for that “cinematic experience” that is a popular term now to justify the lack of a game part in some of the “games” today.

- Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon
- Day of the Tentacle
- Full Throttle
Playing: 1) Broken Sword 5 2) Road 96
1 - Blade Runner
2 - Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon
3 - Loom
4 - The Neverhood
PC means personal computer
1. Blade Runner. Dreamfall had really nice story but had almost no puzzle challenge. I hope chapters will fix that.
2. Can’t really decide. I’ll resist my vote.
3. DOTT
4. Damn. Two of my most beloved games. But my vote goes to Full Throttle. Put into pieces it’s nothing special. But these ingredients were mixed in the best way I can imagine. The unusual protagonist, the cinematic feel, Peter Chan’s crazy art, the dystopian near future, the balance between humor and serious tone, the incredible voice acting. Really sorry for The Neverhood, though.

1. Blade Runner
2. The Longest Journey
3. Day of the Tentacle
4. Full Throttle

I don’t even know what there is to spoil. As far as I remember, who the killer is is randomly determined at the start of the game. As are some other things.
And there’s a ton of vastly different endings that lead the game down very different paths. (I believe they’re not all possible in any given playthrough too, due to those random variables)
1. Blade Runner. Dreamfall had really nice story but had almost no puzzle challenge. I hope chapters will fix that.
I wouldn’t call Blade Runner a puzzle-heavy game either To me it was mostly unique premise and wonderful atmosphere. But it sure lacked challenges.
PC means personal computer
This is the easiest bracket by far, so far and I expect for the foreseeable future
M1: Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
M2: The Longest Journey
M3: Day of the Tentacle
M4: Full Throttle
