has anyone played XING: The Land Beyond?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/299400/XING_The_Land_Beyond/
Kurufinwe mentioned it once (and appeared enthusiastic), it got a rather glowing review on this site.
It looks interesting, i wonder if anyone has any thoughts about it.
It’s been on my radar for some time. Love the graphics. I miss those 1st-person Myst-clones, if anything but to admire the landscapes.
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
that’s what i thought!
It looks like Myst meets The Witness. I’m curious if it’s been overlooked or if people stopped playing/forgot about it, since it doesn’t seem to have garnered a lot of praise or discussion around these parts.
I think i’ll check it out once i’ve finished playing A Space for the Unbound.
Last time I played it was in late 2018. I must have loved it because I have logged about 38 hours in the game. I just don’t remember that much about it…that was a LOT of brain cells ago! I looked at some of the screen shots and they tickled my little, impaired gray cells, so I’ll have to reload it and try it again soon. Thanks for the reminder!
Life is too short to drink bad wine…
Let us know what you think, if you like!
I played it. I liked it. I think I might have actually played it through twice, which is extremely rare for me. It’s been a while so I can’t say much more about it other than it gets my recommendation. Let us all know what you think if you end up playing it!

I loved it. A very evocative game, at least for me, with beautiful graphics, an interesting story, and puzzles that were engaging without being mind-bendingly difficult.I played it with a regular monitor and also with VR headset and liked it both ways.
Thanks for your responses.
This is one of those games that might get me on board with VR headsets. I checked out the soundtrack: epic orchestral magnificence.
so i’m saving up to get this game. 20 buckazoids is a bit steep for my proletarian lifestyle, but i’m reasonably confident it’ll be worth it.

I wonder if Marx ever pondered whether in the future the proletariat would own their own VR headsets…

I wanted to do something new in my house and was thinking about a new garage door. But I didn’t know any good garage door specialists in Abbotsford. But I was very lucky because a friend of mine knows a company called read . They just work with garage doors and know how it all works. Personally, I am pleased with the company’s quick and quality work. Everything was done the way I wanted it done.
But if an adventure gamer could game and would game some amount of adventure, what amount of adventure would an adventure gamer game?
PC means personal computer
I did play some of this one (Steam tells me 5 hours) but similar to many others here I don’t remember too much about it. I definitely don’t remember it being a bad game though, may have to go on to my “try again” list.
