The Lost Crown - A Warning to the Curious
I recently made a trip to Aldeburgh in Suffolk, England. The town and countryside featured under fictional names in MR James’ classic ghost story A Warning to the Curious, which in turn inspired the plot and locations of The Lost Crown. You can view my photos from the trip and see the genesis of elements of The Lost Crown here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tomrbaynham/collections/72157629742864566/
Awesome.
I would love to go, but it would involve actually going South of the border.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Yep, that place is super creepy. It was the first place I visited after Friston and Theberton on my trip, and set a gloomy tone for the rest of the tour.
Now I know what book to read next .
I can’t recommend MR James highly enough. You will see many things from his stories make their way into The Lost Crown. Penguin Classics have two fantastic volumes of his short fiction with annotations. I also recommend A Podcast to the Curious: http://www.mrjamespodcast.com
I can’t find the videos you made of Saxton and other places from TLC on the web anymore amunptah. Can you post a link?
