Who cares about LSL after the disaster(ed) remake, did it add to Sierra or Al himself, did it give anything to Al or did it take off the best off him, and our memories of him ,swashed him up with no chances to retreat again, Fuck this, Fuck this Odd-man for using the Williams with some meaningless awards trying desperately to gain the old timers support and sympathy to this new NOT King’s Quest game.

All of you “adventure game fans” who don’t want to use your brains should be very pleased indeed.

but then they shouldn’t be described as adventure game fans at the 1st place!

None of those things sound like good puzzles (or even puzzles at all, frankly.)  If the action you need to take is completely obvious based on the surroundings, or only one of two or three possible choices, it’s not a fucking puzzle.  It’s “choose one of these few possible choices and see what happens.”  There is no “gather clues and figure out how to proceed” aspect of anything that’s been described so far.  In order for something to be an actual puzzle, the solution cannot be instantly obvious.

There are four steps to a good adventure game puzzle:

1) Explore the world to discover a problem that needs to be solved.
2) Explore the world further to find clues and more information about how to solve said problem.
3) Use one’s own reason and logic to solve the problem based on available clues.
4) Be rewarded with new information, plot sequences, or lore that expands the player’s understanding of the game world or narrative.

Explore the world that with characters like this,

OR some conventional pixel garbage emulating old times, with animations who can hardly convey/do proper walking animations, plus poor voice acting against KQ beautifully painted fantasy world which looks digestible enough to stand against AAA offerings, with good enough player agency than TTGs or Journey or even KZ0 (my fav).
If you just want Atari/commodore with mind bending puzzles then look elsewhere.
Its funny how attackers use the words tattered, stupidity and its should not be like this like people are asking for their character certification.

Look at the larger picture lamb, this project was rumored to be done by TTG, atleast you can say its better alternative.
Puzzles can be hard from EP2 and so on like BAge, given enough criticism.
Play their old game(The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom), they know puzzles very well, its a matter of decision and market response.

Ok, Enough is enough!
There’s more than enough of the unpleasantness, disrespect and overstatements of points made many times before that we’re willing to tolerate. (not even counting all F-bombs!)

This thread is done.
