That was a pretty nice review of Tarthenia in the Following Freeware - September 2016 article tsa & it was good to see a game from Anne Hemenway now in the database here!
I can’t disagree with the couple of negative points that you made one being the lack of story .... but there was a goal & the journey to reach it I thought was very engaging with some interesting adventuring along the way!

The other was the protagonist Debbie’s lack of personality - I know what you mean as you would think that someone that has to live for a while as a chameleon would be a little more emotional but I did love some of her comments!

Thank you Chrissie! I’m glad you liked it. And indeed, Debbie is funny here and there. I liked the one when she comes back to the house after she was turned into a human again, and she says something like: Hm, I’m sure there was a house here. *shrug* And she goes about her business.
