Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Friday 30 January 2015
TOURNAMENT QUARTER FINALS - Special
Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars which I played way back in the mid 90’s on my PS is the 1st true AG I ever played which took me around 3 weeks to complete (by myself!) A week of that game-playing time involved going to work focused on how I was going to beat that goat rather than what I was supposed to be doing & when I finally fathomed it out it seemed such a simple thing!!!
That scene is perhaps one of the few things that I trully like in BS. Smart, simple, with a humorous touch. Billy is great!!
It’s one of the few games I’ve played several times including the (dumbed down!) Re-mastered version of which I like the extra scenes of but don’t appreciate so much the dumbing down of the dialogue & some of the puzzles!
Original: One of the best mystery games in history!
Director’s Cut: Worst Director’s Cut in history!
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
