What’s the word on Mafia 3? Read some good impressions but others complaining about repetitive stuff in the open world.
I liked Mafia 2 because of it’s story main missions and world around, didn’t care about the side stuff.

Get Gears 4 on PC.

Loving it so far, and i dont even like gears.

 

Never played a Gears game. Is story ok for newcomers of do I need to know what happened?

I suggest you do play the first 3 games. They are pretty good.

I played Gears1, was ue3 technical first nextgen showpiece, later ones were braindead and shallow, ignored them.
You dont need to know previous story that much to enjoy it.
Now, they have done solid job, expect my review soonish but dont fall for Mafia3.

After I’m finished with the Halo series I’m going to look into Gears. Going to look into Gears1 since they remade it, after that I’ll see.

i will buy the full ver with all unlocks if thats the case, if there will be full ver but again it req online.
Lately steam library , TitanX performance gears4 and Doom 60fps 4k, no online fees is making me mad on consoles 100 fold.

I wonder why they didnt just made the game on old engine and remastered it
Heck even went into actual iconic ItalianMafia direction like they had before than this SJW misstep
