Still at 91 after 45 critics, nice job capcom

Capcom is back (maybe). Let’s see if sales number are also good for MHW. Seems like in Japan pre-orders are big but probably not portable numbers, of course.
After RE7 they are starting to make a tradition of starting the year with a big game. DMC5 - January 2019

SFV AE also scoring around 9, so DMC5 at 8/9 will be redemption
And Kamiya showing confidence for RE2make, things could do well for capcom for a while

Curiously enough, Resi5 and 6 which you’ve called and I’m quoting here “a debacle” still holds today after it’s all said and done an 84 out of 76 critics and a 74 outta 34, but don’t let those pesky double-standards get in the way of a good shilling.

That’s a no-brainer. Capcom never had a problem with that so streamlining\modernizing the already super successful MonHun series means big bucks. Hell, RE5 and 6 are sitting comfortably at 2nd and 4th as their most sold games for some reason.

this number makes it the best selling MH game ever, above MH Portable 3rd, which shipped 4.9 million lifetime. And that in 1 weekend! Game could very well go on to sell 10 million at this rate, mindnumbingly great success for Capcom.

And some people were making fun when capcom was projecting 10 million lifetime sales
In that case it will beat RE5/6 making it top seller of ps3/4 gen
Its also highest rated MH ever i think

Spring is best window for japanese games

Oh and this is a game that defies micro transactions and dropping free DLCs

So Sotc remake is a hit, another Sony xclusive b4 MS ones that was announced after
Sea of thieves ,stateofdecay2 etc

Meanwhile , Capcom Stock + 4.79% after MHW launch , Highest since 2001
