DMC5 will probably be exclusive to some console since Capcom only works like that now, maybe only next year.
Crash remastered maybe already has something to show.

Nomadsoul, how is Final Fantasy XV so far?

Will dip in after tlg , so close but for what i checked in spoilers thread, leaked ending months ago was right(which i thought as bad fanfiction), its total melodrama with tabata style if you have played tabata past games like Type0.
Dont overhype and dont think that FF can ever be same like past games, FF12 was last real
FF game.
Cringe,Cheese,Epic,QTEs,Skyrim complex, Awesome music and boring sections with too many
things subtracted from original Nomura vision of Shinjuku and whatnot

There is pokeman level cheese and there is other
FF12 and other were far better in scenario writing

Never finished 12 but played for about 20h but the writing is probably on of the best with all the politics around, maybe because it’s by Matsuno. Want to play it properly when the remaster is out.
For now I’ll play the Middle-Earth Entourage

Matsuno track record is amazing, Vagrant,LUCT,FF12,Tactics,Madworld etc.
FFX had amazing characters, Auron to Yuna summoning, sin etc
FFVII had amazing cast too. Squall to Laguna
FF7 was classic,again Tifa to Vincent, Midgar is best world ever conceived

FFXV is aggressive waste of time, Conan was right
Lets wait for press response, fans are pissed at ending and story already and having meltdown

From all the tabata stuff, Type0 and Crisicore are still best.
FFXV is at Parasiteeve Vita Aggressive waste of time levels

Press response will probably be not very good for what Square qants, maybe between 7-8s around. Review embargo on release date might not a very good sign.
But even with bad story read some good impressions of dungeons, exploration, monsters. At least it’s not a corridor like 13. It’s not Witcher 3 but nothing really is

I guess FFXV gameplay is still better than W3, w3 is abomination in gameplay

Anyway origami and you must buy yak 0 in first month
We need to support this IP for Yak6 and future iterations

Yak0 also happens be 3rd best in the series after Yak2 and Yak4

Final Fantasy IX is my fav FF game because it feels complete(no cut out content), presents an epic journey a la LOTR with cast moving in different groups and re-grouping, great setting, great soundtrack.

FFX is also a favourite of mine since it has my fav setting with the exotic locations(Besaid, Kilika) with a nice end twist. Great world-building with blitzball as its sport. Beautiful OST.

FFVII was the first I played and finished it as an 11 year old. No idea how I managed that. Great game but the convoluted plot becomes apparent the older you get.

Couldn’t get into FFXII. I didn’t like the battle system with action elements where you can walk around during battle. Probably played 6 hours and dropped it.
Just came off Dragon Quest VIII which is one of my fav games and I just wanted more of it. Made me realize FF is not the end all of JRPG’s and made me realize the emo-ness of the franchise is too high.

Finished FFVIII with all characters at level 100. Good game, but doesn’t enter top 5 for me.

Own the FFXIII trilogy, never popped one in my PS3 lol.

FFIX > FFX > FFVI > FFVII > FFIV > FFVIII

Though i was forced to pop in my disc for Fang and she helped me get through other torture supporting cast

I can recommend you getting Resonanceoffate, LostOdyssey and LastStory for last bits
of Jrpg goodness, if you can get hands on them somehow

You can play accelerated Lostodyssey ver on Xb1, so great to score a copy
If you are up for more rare rpg gems, get Folklore , super amazing story,Kenjikawai music,dreamy artstyle and world
Loading times sucked though
This intro is so meaningful
Better story than Dreamfall or GKs, half the game is Adventure

This gen is a complete disaster in terms of good RPGs or original games
