Just a wild guess: Day of the Tentacle?
Interesting guess! But nooo. Ill post another clip from it when i have a chance in a few hours.

Excellent! Yes indeed, it is the sound that plays when obtaining the blood ritual. I thought it was memorable

I’m curious to find out where people will think this is from. 
First thoughts were a Sherlock Holmes game but then Aviary Attorney came to mind so I’ll say that as it’s clearly something not as obvious as SH. I don’t know if it’s Saint-Saens though.
It really sounds like the classical music they use in the Frogwares SH games, doesn’t it? But it’s not, nor is it from Aviary Attorney. As a matter of fact, it’s an original composition, not a piece of classical music.
