Reminds me a bit of Zak McKracken's music. Not confident, though.

The game is indeed old, but it's not Zak McKracken.
Maybe I'll post more music later. |

I'm thinking it might be one of the Space Quest games, but I'm not sure. I'll guess SQ 1.

That's clearly an AdLib soundtrack. Now, if we assume that ollie would have used the MT-32/GM version if it existed, that leaves us with those games that only had an AdLib soundtrack. And it definitely has to be something I haven't played.
I'm going to guess something from Coktel. Let's say, Fascination?

Sorry, all guesses are wrong. Even if a couple of them are not that far off...
The game has an AdLib soundtrack, I recorded the music while playing it with DOSBox. I will post another piece later today as soon as I am back home. |

No replies, so I'm guessing it's still too difficult to identify the game...
Okay, the mystery will be solved once you listen to this. I've been keeping this thread idle for far too long, I think it's time to move on. |

Either no one recognizes it (which I refuse to believe) or suddenly there's been a loss of interest in this thread... Well, let me give you a hint: this game is a dynamic adventure...
If no one steps forward, I am revealing its title in 24 hours. |

There's never been a huge lot of people participating in this thread, so the likelihood of picking a game that nobody has played (or remembers) is not negligible. After re-listening to the tracks you've posted, I can definitely say it's not something I've played.

That's it! Never give up hope, as they say. And maybe the hint "dynamic adventure" helped a bit there...
By the way, the last piece I posted was the game's main theme: at that moment I thought someone would recognize it quickly. But I admit it was tricky, being very old and not so famous as other Sierra/Dynamix games. Your turn! |

Agh. I can't believe that, after the hint, I sat through 20 minutes of a Rise of the Dragon Let's Play and didn't think for a second of Willy Beamish.

I sense a western vibe... but also Sierra's.
