Shrug. It was just a warning. No, I don't want to guess.

Actually that could very well be from the docks at Lost Horizon. That'd be a good one so obvious no one would think of it.

And of course it neither.
(I actually considered both Lost Horizon and Heart of China when deciding what to name the file.)

Well, what can you do? Call me petty, but I prefer a stupid one that doesn't get guessed immediately to a really clever one that would have been guessed in less than 3 hours.

I honestly didn't expect this to last this long... Oh well. New track!

Laura Bow - The Dagger Of Amon Ra
This music plays when Detective O'Riley questions the museum guests after finding Dr. Pippin Carter's body, if I'm not mistaken. And maybe in other parts of the game too. By the way, the previous unguessed track plays in Lo Fat's Chinese Laundry. |

I think I've played this, but I can't quite place it. I first thought it was KQ7 (Ooga-Booga), but, after looking through my files, it seems like it's not. Also the choirs at the beginning do not exactly sound like what you'd get with a GM soundtrack, so I'm going to say the game has a digital soundtrack. Checked Sanitarium, doesn't seem to be it either.
So for the moment I don't know. Maybe I haven't played it. It does sound awfully familiar, though.

I can confirm it's neither KQ7 nor Sanitarium.
The game is well known, though this particular piece might not be since it plays in only one location. More hints and/or music later, if needed... |

And I've got it...
But not before re-listening to the whole Discworld 2 soundtrack, and then almost convincing myself that it was from a game I'd never played. I ended up having to read through my list of completed games to figure out the game — and that was based much more on the lo-fi quality of the audio than on the actual tune. So, that's Kyrandia 3, the graveyard.

I was afraid the low audio quality might give it away, and it did...
That's right of course. Your turn! |

I don't think I would ever have guessed it without the audio quality, especially since it's not really typical of the Kyrandia 3 soundtrack, which is mostly not that dark (well, except when it is: that soundtrack was really all over the place — then again, so was the game).
Usually, whenever someone guesses one of mine, I sit the next one out, to prevent the thread from risking to feel like a ping-pong match. But that one caught my interest because I couldn't place it. So, to make up for that, I'm doing a genuinely easy one now. Click me!

If I guess this (it is indeed easy), then it would definitely turn into a ping-pong match...
Can't resist though: Gabriel Knight 3 - Grace's Theme |

Speaking of low audio quality tunes, here's another one.
