Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Sunday 21 December 2014
Spud! (1996) is a 1st-person adventure with 360 degree panning. You are Spud and your grandfather has been kidnapped. Sounds simple, go find him! But your grandfather happens to be Santa Claus. It’s a weird game with bizarre creatures and somewhat crude humor. I found it entertaining at first. Too bad it’s also a buggy game and I lost my patience for bugs a long time ago.
I still have the game on my win98 computer and wanted to post a more interesting screenshot than a couple of dead elves, but printscreen delivers only black screens so I got this one from the legacy.
