Name of cartoony black and white point and click game? (early 2000s)
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum.
Okay, here’s what I remember about the game:
- You play as a detective, who is not human (some kind of animal thing, I dunno lol), dressed with a coat ala Dick Tracy
- Some human comes to you and asks you to find out something for him (his friends went missing or something? not quite sure)
- The detective declines but soon becomes intrigued by the case
- The game is in black and white
- The game is a point and click adventure
- The game’s graphics were cartoony
- The detective had a secretary (also not human) who sat in front of a computer. There was a segment of sorts where you had to distract her by asking her a question or something
- I believe there was also a segment where you go to an amusement park to find out what happened to the human’s friends
Sadly that’s all I remember.
Any help is appreciated.
Oh, the game was probably released in the early 2000s, highly doubt it was before that.
Hm, would think this wouldnt be hard, not a lot of newer black and white games. But its not ringing a bell. Can you think of anymore details, like was it a commercial game, or freeware? Did it have voice acting? You’re not human, but is it scifi or just silly fantasy?
I can say though that you would likely enjoy games like: discworld noir and grim fandango.
A Case of the Crabs I think.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Cubert Badbone, P.I.
It’s a freeware game by Deirdra Kiai, you can get it here: http://www.deirdrakiai.com/my-games/
Madre de Dios, es el Pollo Diablo!
OK that makes more sense.

Yes, Cubert Badbone, P.I was the game! Thank you so much!
Thanks to everyone else for the help, as well!
