E3 2015
Pathetic, sequels of sequels, cg renders, recycled content 101.
Want my one hour and a half back.
Except for backwards compatibility and mods for consoles nothing terribly exciting happened. Indies were great again, thankfully they’ll all be coming to PC.
Microsoft
Tomb Raider Rise of the Tomb Raider - looks amazing. 10/11/15
Same day as Fallout 4? They probably should move it.
I agree, the only game I was really impressed by is Tomb Raider which is looking like a timed exclusive.
Metal Gear V trailer about to be shown on Youtube.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Indies were old , last year games, some KS junk and early concept demos.
And BC list,

Less than 20 games lol for now.
Halo5 and Gears graphics looked worse than DooM.
TR demo was on rails , they basically showed a playable cutscene.
Rare game is Asscreed knockoff with The witness art style.
Metal Gear Solid V out 1st September.
6 min trailer talking about and Eye for an Eye and words being the new power (or something). Typical Kojima trailer of WTF is going on.
Look nice though. Wonder what the gameplay is like.

That’s what I was thinking, it’s to going to be a very slow rollout. And games with new versions will probably not be there.
The DayZ creator talking about Early Access of what seems like a No Man’s Sky knockoff was hilarious since DayZ is far from finished
The indies looked good, but I can get them on PC, so I’m going to ignore them in this.
Halo 5 - sort of looked interesting as it seems like they’re doing something different with the story.
Recore - to early to tell, but again, looked interesting.
Rare Replay - I’d buy that.
Sea of Thieves - it wasn’t much to go on, but one thing that struck me was the lack of charm previous Rare games had.
Seemed like they were hoping old games and it being backwards compatible was going to hold us over till they’re ready. I’d give them a 6/10.

There is no reason why Rare Replay shouldn’t be on PC. Great news about backwards compatibility though.
Cuphead really stuck out from Microsoft’s conference. A lot of these shooters bleed into each other and feel like the same game. Some burly dude walking through a corridor engaging in banter with a random woman. “Above you. my radar is detecting space scoundrels, etc…”
Cuphead is just gorgeous.
Also, Geoff Keighley showed off a new Metal Gear Solid V trailer immediately following the conference. He seemed genuinely pained that Kojima was leaving Konami. The trailer was good - definitely broke the format of these other action game reveals.
Yeah, I saw that.
...Kojima really needs to get off whatever he’s smoking lol. He’s trying to make a game all profound and clever, while a girl has massive knockers swinging around on screen lol.

Always remember to trust Kojima
Trailer looked good, but sick of seeing trailers for years! Finally the game will be out
EA starting soon, hopefully some footage of Mass Effect and some good stuff from Battlefront. Will probably be disappointed…
Edit: And Mirror’s Edge!
Haha, fair enough.
I do hope Battlefront has space fight now. What were they thinking?! Coming up next, Fallout 4 with no wastelands and Fifa with no ball?

People seem convinced FF7 remake is happening now? Any reason why?
