Resonance - can’t access previous save games.
I deleted the demo version of Resonance before installing the full game - whizzed through the repeat of the demo parts & have got a little further on. I’ve got 8 saved games & the latest 4 show up on the page when you want to launch the game - there seems to be no problem with clicking on & replaying through any of these. But none of the previous 4 saves which I have to access by pressing the ‘next’ button will load. I get the following error message:
“An error has occurred. Please contact the game author for support, as this is likely to be a scripting error and not a bug in AGS (ACI version 3.21.1115) Error’ Restore_Game. Game has changed (dlg), unable to restore”
Does anyone else have this problem?
Did you delete the demo saves prior to installing the full game?
Those might be relicts of your save games from the demo version, which are not compatible.
Thinking about it - no! I didn’t delete the save games from the demo (although I uninstalled it) & I didn’t make any new ones in the full game (apart from one)until I got past everything I’d already played in the demo.
Thank you Tramponline! It all makes sense now - the saves I can’t access are from the demo!
No worries chrissie. Enjoy the game.
For everyone who’s played the DEMO, and doesn’t want to repeat this section in the full game:
Dave Gilbert, the publisher of Resonance, provided a savegame for the FULL version, exactly right before the demo version ends:
The link to this save game is in this thread on the Wadjet Eye Forum:

Download it and extract the file to your Resonance savegame folder.
Usually: C:\User\*Your Username*\Saved Games\Resonance
Start Resonance, load this save and you’re good to go.
