Adventure game scene… uh, game (continued)
The game is Chants of Sennaar! And I guess you would recommend it to me for being a game about translations?
Currently translating Strangeland into Spanish. Wish me luck, or send me money to my Paypal haha
2x YES! Are you interested in playing it? It’s so much fun to find the meaning of the various language glyphs. There are other kinds of puzzles as well, not very hard, also a lot of fun.
PROM, NAPOL, PROM! - The Rise of the Golden Idol
Of course! I had it in my Steam wishlist, I’ll have to buy it soon.
Well, I will contribute my share of skeletons lol:

The number od views of this thread just surpassed five million and it’s fishy to me.
Why? Because recently there were around 10,000 views per day, and that (I strongly believe) is imposssible.
I reckon the same goes for other popular threads.
What I’m trying to say is that we jumped from 4 million to 5 million views in practically no time. That wasn’t the case before, when we could have 1,000 views only on an extremely good day.
I love this thread, but this is fishy nevertheless.
It could always be worse, remember that.

Yeah, that must be the explanation.

I like the look of Chants of Sennaar and will purchase a copy for sure.
Is it Chronicle of Innsmouth?
PC means personal computer
It’s not Chronicle of Innsmouth, it is a much more recent game, although talking about Cthulhu…

Hmm… I posted it twice, sorry. Any admin feel free to delete one of them.

Glad to oblige, Walas!
I don’t really rise and shine. I caffeinate and hope for the best.
It’s An English Haunting, I remember that tentacle scene from the trailer! The game scored more stars than the Riven Remake on Adventuregamers)

You are correct! I chose that image because of your Chronicle of Innsmouth answer and because I thought it would be easier to guess because of the trailer.
I wanted to promote An English Haunting, a solid aventure game with better puzzles than Nightmare Frames, more dinamic maybe, and if you are interested in paranormal stuff and the beginning of spiritism and all that, you will enjoy the game like I did.
And the setting in England at that time is astounding!
All yours, Doom.

Thanks, walas! I was actually looking forward to playing the game, although I thought of playing Nightmare Frames first (I still haven’t). Can’t say I’m into paranormal activity, but then it’s a running theme in many great games, and I love everything that takes place at the start of the 20th century. Here’s the next screenshot:
