Adventure game sound… uh, game
I am wondering if anyone played this game:
Guess
Wow, if that’s NOT from a Monkey Island game, then Michael Land and Clint Bajakian should sue…
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
The obvious guess is Pirates of Vooju Island, and I’m feeling lazy so I’ll go with the obvious guess.
Not Ghost Pirates. This is from an indie game, one which I don’t think many people played (I haven’t).
I think it takes place on an island, which explains the theft.
No guesses? I don’t think posting another track will help. Should I just reveal the game?
The only ones I can think of fitting that criteria are Jolly Rover and Missing on Lost Island. Can I guess both? I don’t think anyone else is going to.
It’s neither. Guess it really is too obscure.
The game is from 2008, reviewed on this website. It is one of the few adventures which have an isometric perspective.
After looking at the reviews for 2008 (it’s a good thing the old site is still archived), I guess it might be The Lost City of Malathedra. I wasn’t even aware of that game’s existence.
It’s definetly that one. Never heard of it.
Totall a Monkey Island music rip off
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Yep.
By the way, has anyone here played Kaptain Brawe? They have a ripoff (or homage?) of LeChuck’s theme.
Thank you Shany.
I was bored during the week-end a couple of weeks ago and I prepared a little medley. I hope you don’t mind. It’s a weird experiment I’ve wanted to do for a while. Maybe it’s a much too easy, maybe it’s much too hard — I’m not sure, but it’s probably going to be a disaster. Sorry.
Anyway, here it is! No more than 2 guesses per round, please.
By the way, I see it’s my 100th post on the new forums. It figures it’d be in this thread…

I’m getting about 2 seconds of audio on each of them.

Yes, that’s what the weird experiment is. I wanted to make something like the quizzes, where you have to recognize just a detail from a screenshot. I’m curious (and a bit worried) to see if it’s going to be guessable. At least, I only used music from extremely famous games…

My only problem is how to tie it to the timings you have listed.
BTW 1. Full Throttle

The times are given as ( seconds . 1/100 seconds ), since the medley is exactly a minute long.
(I’ll confirm the guesses later; but you’re probably right.)
