I have to say the site is pretty crap as it basically doesn't work. 9 out of 10 times I'm simply redirected to the Majesco site. Having said that, I did manage to download the trailer in what appears to have been a fluke moment of functionality... AND IT'S AWESOME.
The quicktime compression was a bit blocky so I may try and download the mpeg version - if, that is, I ever manage to get onto the site again - but for now I am left with a general impression of pure distilled, if badly compressed, awesomeness. |

There is a 107MB MOV version(640x480, 2:45) of the same trailer at 3D Gamer. Last edited by funcroc; 10-05-2004 at 09:53 AM. |

What an Impressive trailer!
I just saw the trailer for Psychonauts on Gamespot's Stream for Free format, and man, I was very impressed. The voice acting sounded great, especially the creature that looks and acts like a colonel (I hope I spelled that right). I also liked the graphics, very stylish, and nicely animated, too.
As for the gameplay, I can't say for certain whether this is going to be a full-out action game, or an adventure because the trailer showed a lot of action in the gameplay. But, I'm remaining hopeful that the game will have equal amounts of action and adventure, too. Overall, I am definitely looking forward to playing this game. It looks very original to me, and it's great to know that it has a sense of humor to it, too. |

The video is very low quality though. Maybe I should start thinking about switching to GS Complete.
The preview was good though. I have a question though: Did Tim actually work on Maniac Mansion? If yes, then what? MM is on his games credited list at Mobygames, but he's not in the actual MM credits. Did he just have a minor role in the game making process? |

Considering he was hired to work on Monkey 1, I think Gamespot is getting Maniac Mansion confused with DOTT.

OK, I tried and tried not to post this, but I can't control myself.
So here it goes: I think Tim is cute. His voice is cute for sure.

i have it and it was worth my 30 bucks, it's not that bad of a price if you think about it, it covers you for one year. if you do get a membership you get 10% off everything that you buy at Ebgames.com you also get access to everything with number one priority. i never have to wait threw advertisements when i watch a video and my download speed threw the private FTP is always quick. i also have the option to use the FTP or the DLX download server, sometimes one may be quicker then the other |

Next July, when I've done my military service, I will probably get GS Complete. I don't really see the point of getting it now, when I only have about three months use of it and then half a year more or less without using the service at all.
