Default Which game next?

After a long stretch of not playing any videogames I'm trying to pick up a few games that are cheaper now and maybe harder to find later on. I've just bought a couple old gamecube games (zelda, metroid, etc). What game should I get next?

-Beyond Good & Evil
-Gregory Horror Show
-Ico
-Katamari Damacy or something like that

What would be the best choice?

Beyond Good & Evil, like the other guy said . Also, ICO....absolutely.

And if you have Xbox grab Fable. Experience it as an adventure game with an RPG edge and you'll have grand time.

Yeah, I guess I will pick up Beyond G&E tomorrow as there was only one copy left (which I hope is still there). I don't have an Xbox but was considering getting one to round of the trifecta. Oh, by the way, which version would be better to buy - gamecube or playstation?

I dunno, I played the PC version (which was fine, crisp graphics and sound, etc.).

I'd choose based on which controller I prefer (for me the PS2), but if you have no preference either way in that respect I guess go with GameCube as the graphics are probably slightly nicer.

I don't know about Gregory Horror, but all the other games you mentioned are fine examples of gamehood and can be bought on a whim without a thought. Especially Beyond Good & Evil

I would get BG&E for the PC. It is the best of all the versions graphically.

Have you played Katamari? I read that it was a brilliant game.

It's only better graphically if your PC will let it be. Also, I suspect the game was designed with a controller in mind.

In general: Knights Of The Old Republic, the best game of the last few years.

I had a Geforce 4 Ti4200 and 256 MB RAM and a P4 1.8 GHZ which is subpar in today's standards, and it ran like a dream without a single glitch. I rented the PS2 version to see how it looked like, and dude you lose so much of the crispness in the game. It just doesn't look the same.
As far as the controls, it couldn't be any simpler on the PC. Unless you have never played a game that requires a keyboard before. My philosophy is, if there is a game that uses cutting edge PC technology to be rendered, and you have the hardware to play it, than you should take advantage of that.
