In addition, GameTrailers.com will provide wall-to-wall, 24-hour coverage including high-definition gameplay videos, interviews and live, commercial-free streams of the five major press conferences from Xbox, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Sony and Nintendo.

On Thursday, June 4th, Spike TV gives E3 a send-off with a special wrap-up episode of “Game Trailers TV With Geoff Keighley” at 12:30 AM ET/PT. Shot on location during E3, GTTV grills the top executives from Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft to get the real story on the future of each gaming console. In addition, viewers will see world premieres not shown at E3, including FIFA 2010 from EA Sports.

What you guys are looking/hyped for?

My list of hype/expectations/speculations

Trico footage and release date.
HR release date and some good footage to steal competition.
ME2 substantial footage(latest GI has scoop on it, shephard returning with considerable amount of game, asari and krogan planet reveal, and new threat which is anti-ctiadel, no texture popin, no elevators etc.).

AvP feels too good to miss in crowd

Racthet footage makes me wonder again what sony will show besides what it has revealed.

Alwanwake,Splintercell, peter's Halo project should steal the 360 show.

Wii should not make fun of itself again.

And Sony should show some unannounced projects to steal the show.
(gow3 footage will either piss gamers or floor gamers).

Rockstar wont be there, actually i was interested in maxpayne3 and LAnoire footage.

Capcom secret game could be onimusha or strider, though DR2 wont be there due to swineflu ,for same reasons SE is also taking precautions, i hope FF footages will be there in some form.

A new Halo? That would be amazing. My boyfriend would flip out, he's obsessed with it. I heard they weren't going to make any more of it, at least for now, so maybe it has to do with Halo Wars, or at least something Halo-y?

Last scene was good, but man they are going for same typical heavily scripted scenes, old engine with bad lightmaps.
Getting old, not an extra 100 mile as hyped by GI.

I wonder if they can steal E3 this time like they did with MW1.

What about the possibility of Half Life 3 instead of the episodes.

It's been ages since the 2nd game.

The 2nd game isn't finished yet, that will be with Episode 3. A hypothetical HL3 will take several years to be finished and released, i'm not even sure Valve is thinking in a HL3 for now.

Valve said there won't be a HL3. Episode 3 is suppose to wrap up the game.

I'm definitely looking forward to see more of brutal legend, and hopefully Ubisoft will have some new trailer for beyond good and evil 2. Also would be nice to see a continuation of the Half life series from Valve. Maybe show us the portal gun in episode 3 please??? Bayonetta also looks intriguing to me, and I'm looking forward to see more of it.

Also would be nice to see a previously unannounced game from Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.

I'm hoping for some Deus Ex 3, or Alan Wake news.
I think I heard somewhere that Deus Ex 3 wasn't going to be at E3, though...

Won't happen. They strictly said that the gun will only exist in its form in the Portal series. Though I can say that the creators of the Portal gun, Aperture Science, will return in Episode 3.

More 'Thi4f' news would be nice, too.

According to the Wiki Deus Ex 3 is slated for release on PC and X360. Good. I abandoned the annoying high maintenance PC platform years ago and am now strictly a console & handheld gamer.

At least Joystiq has some upbeat speculation on Alan Wake:

Quote:
Remedy's Alan Wake is not only shown, a release window is announced.

Why we think it will happen - With Duke Nukem shelved for the time being, Alan Wake becomes the next title character in line for development mockery. Microsoft is publishing it, the time is now.

Why we think it won't happen - No idea. But if it doesn't happen soon, don't bother.
Remedy is notorious for being annoyingly anal and taking almost forever to finish their games. That's why I currently DON'T give a damn about Alan Wake at this time. I want official announcements, it's the only way we can know for sure about any upcoming titles.

http://forum.alanwake.com/showthread.php?t=2146

Glad they are doing it, since there last trailer had mannequins type faces.

But i am not expecting it this year anyway.

"Probing everything from how easily you make friends to whether you've ever role-played during sex, even these early questions have a radical effect on Silent Hill's opening few sequences. State that you're fond of a drink and the game replaces the town's diner with a bar. We also noted our answers affected whether an early store location sold electrical goods or clothing – each permutation featuring unique puzzles – and if our first character encounter occurred with a cop or a waitress. Even conversations take on a different tone – from perfectly pleasant to outwardly aggressive - and answer phone messages switch from inquisitive to thoroughly menacing. It all goes a long way to ensuring your experience is relentlessly, refreshingly, unpredictable and you're never at ease with your surroundings".

Well character models are tight, thats what matters most, i liked Origins, hope they pull it off more better this time.

The article gives more insight into how the game can immerse you. I think the Wii controller interface and A.I. profiling system are the strongest features here. I love that you can do a total 360 turn by just panning the controller in your hand off screen, but "moving" the torch with your arm (instead of merely your thumb) is quite immersive in itself.
