Oh, prepare to cry when TES V looks much better than what the 360 can handle. PCs will rule the world.

Oblivion has been re-rated in NA from T (13+) to an M (17+) rating:
http://www.bethsoft.com/news/pressrelease_050306.htm And John Romero, formerly of id Software has had some things to say on his blog about this "Hot Coffee"-like ordeal: http://rome.ro/ |

John Romero comes out with some crap, but this time. He's blaming modders for modding?
The ratings and censor people are unbelievably inconsistant, but really, virtual naked breasts get a 17 rating? Have I been dreaming, and these are really victorian times?

Why don't you try reading his follow up post before laying into him? If you didn't click the link and you didn't read the whole of the text then what actually gives you the right to - incorrectly - lay into his views?

Even his update didn't retract the stupid statements he made about modders being a cause. If he says one thing but means an entirely different thing, then I'm sorry for not being fluent in Romero.

But its true, it may not be their fault that its happening but the excuse people are using to increase the age rating is what the modders have created.

great game beat it in 72 hrs, was about a week and a half of playing too much everyday. IMO theres really no point in doing anything after you've beat the game but i did complete the mages quest after i beat the game. Game seems a little overrated, most of the caves / ruins use all the same maps and it does get boring beeing in the same cave or dungeon throughout the whole game.

Any advice for me as I try to beef up my thieving skills? I decided my green haired wood elf gamine will steal from the rich but still have good heart. Just joined the thieve's guild and I got the taffer's itch.

join the dark brotherhood as well, they give you armour (i think) that increases your sneak skill when you wear it.

Ive also got a little secret to get the armour your awarded with at the very end of the BD quests early, they add 11 to pretty much all the things you need as a theif.....
Its not a cheat, cause its always there. You could probably come across it yourself by accident if your lucky. Tell me if you want to know or if youd rather wait till the end of the DB

Maybe you can just give me a clue on what to look for? Thanks.
And who do I have to kill to get invited into the DB? I'd kinda feel badly if it was a civilian or a guard.

Just kill anyone. I heard a rumour claiming that you had to kill someone so I found some random house in Bravil massacred the resident and slept in his bed and got a visit from Dark 'Hood dude. But if your really big on morals, there's the Skooma House in Bravil where you could put a bunch of paranoid junkies out of their misery.

Pauvre, pauvre junkies.
Guess I'll have to make a trip to Bravil, then. I'll use my ice spell and freeze one of them to death, it's at least not as inhumane as hacking n slashing.

inhumane!?!
INHUMANE!?! I massacred them as they slept not while they were awake. So they probably didnt feel the pain. AND another tip... keep the skooma and sell it to a thieves guild fence (thats a person who buys thieved stuff. dont go interacting for four hours with a wooden barrier)
