I know I will end up with too many links, which will be more intimidating for people to click on..

Well, the original post said "the photos you're most proudest", so here goes, very possibly my favorite self-taken pic, although it was actually taken by my father...

Quite a few years ago.

Aaanyway, here:

Here's a few shots from days of yonder (last fall, spring etc.). The three first were taken from a moving car, so you'll excuse the little mistakes.

I'll post a few more in a sec, once Photobucket uploads...

Alright, here's a couple more:

This one I think I posted already:

And here's one more from a moving car:
http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/t...d/DSC00117.jpg

And a couple that look much better in a smaller size than a large size:

I say! That is a beautiful picture. What is the green light on the upper right of the picture?

I also liked this one:

It's just a streetlight. I have no idea why it looks green there though, maybe the broken glass distorts it somehow or then it was just greenish for some reason I can't remember how it looked if you didn't look at it through that particular window...

Uptimist those pictures are awesome! especially the first 4 really sum up autumn perfectly! keep sharing more autumn love if you have any as similar! :p *yeah I know its summer now*

I was at this place some days ago, called "Bygdøy" and its known for being the whereabouts for the folkmuseum, where you find old houses/churches and cultural historical building types. It is also a place where people go to swim during the summer or have a picknick, its locations gives a great view to the Oslo fjords. However the fjords aren't really that remarkable here compared to those to the west of Norway :p.

Okay I did some research and you are right, I found these guys!
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...f_may_2006.jpg

Greyback Goose

The reason why I associate them with ducks is because the ducks I am used to have longer necks than what I find online with other breeds. So they look more like ducks than geese to me if you think of their necks not being that long.

Thanks the compliments both of you, I was happy with some of the angles ,but then again most of it was not that special. Just patience and a lot memory on a camera!
Well if you take 100 pictures of a goose in different angels you can be sure one of the pictures will end up smooth! Plus they were around me a lot until they stopped swimming around..

Hey you should start taking photos of things around you too!
Need more North America in this thread! its already a bit too Western Continental/North Europe (Netherlands/Finland/Norway) biased! *even if we are awesome *. Really want to see more American surroundings/Nature/Birds that you won't find in Europe.

I shot something we are all able to see. Isn't that amazing? The fact that we went there and walked around on it is in my opinion the coolest thing mankind has ever done. I do hope we will go to Mars within my lifetime!

What's a harvest moon, Bullsie?

BTW, my brother has an 'in between' lens you can use to double the focal length of any lens you put on it. I would love to use that on the moon, to get more detail. If I had cash to burn I would buy an outrageously expensive telelens (800 mm or more) just for the moon, and a ditto macro lens (f/1 or so, to capture evey photon that has been reflected off the subject). Unfortunately these things are not only very expensive but also very very heavy.

I'd have some pretty good pics of the moon (in the daytime) but the moon is always too small in the pics. I guess I'd need another lens too but as you say, you can't just get one for free

Or then the moon should grow. Either way...

I know, you must be pretty fed up with Annabel, but I'm quite proud of the picture I took yesterday. She was sitting on the couch, which had a black cover over it to protect it from her obnoxious digging, and the sun was illuminating her hair so beautifully from behind her. So I took a picture and used the Gimp to make the background totally black. The result is my new avatar:
