I couldn't avoid noticing the new avatar, it is a great picture yes! The dark background really puts her into the spot! Remember It can never be enough Annabel Tsa!

Maruca and I were walking in the forest this evening just before dark, and we saw deer grazing in a field:

I forgot I should have posted here the pictures I took from the park here some month ago or more.

I got some new pictures from an island where I tried desperately to capture some rare bird breeds ,but not sure if I was successful or not.

A quick present for tsa. Apologies for the poor photos; I'm going to blame both an old point-and-squirt camera that I found myself lumbered with at the last moment, and also my poor photography skills. Mostly the latter.

The obligatory outside shot...

And a couple of others...

Woot! Thanks Rob, they're very interesting! I've never seen pictures of the building up close, let alone inside!

The odd thing that people always comment on is that the building isn't white up close - it's more a sort of cream colour. And it's covered in tiles - hence the funky pattern seen in photo number two.

The third of those shots comes from inside the building (I have a few other indoor photographs that I'll upload at some point, though they wouldn't let us photograph the actual concert/opera halls).

I was in Gronau, Germany yesterday (a 20 min. drive from Enschede) and shot some pics in the park there:

Hiya my friendly photo-fellows! Yesterday my brother was here, and we went to the Lutterzand; a sandy, foresty area about 20 km from Enschede. The small river the Lutte runs through it. On a sandy shore of the river I shot this picture:

I was pretty lucky to catch him like that.

A good viewpoint and just sheer luck. I had my camera on fast repeat, and the dog's hind feet are just missing on all the other pictures. This was the last picture I took, and when I took it I knew this one was OK. But I hadn't expected it to be this good.

Nice one, tsa. I always want to get these movement pics, but I'm never in a situation like that, at least with a camera...

But, I just went on a night-photography spree last night, so I'll be getting back to you with the best from there soon

Hey tsa or any other photographers for that matter:

Have you had any experience with the Diana F+ or Holga cameras? I'm looking at getting one because I miss film and all it's little quirks. I've haven't touched a camera recreationally in years!

My sister uses a Holga one :p
But not sure what I can tell or share!
However you can make some really awesome 2 layered pictures with them if you look at the Holga communities.

Tsa that dog in action photo is awesome! hehe! well most great things come by luck, it would be worse if you didn't manage to capture it!
