1. I don't have any real life-changing moments, but spending time in Tokyo I found a new sort of pace and style to life. It was very nice experiencing something like that, because I've spent so much time in one place.

1. How do you usually keep in touch with your friends?
Email, cards, phone, letters, and visits in varying degrees depending on where the friend lives and how close a relationship we have. 2. How many friends have you lost in your life? My best friend in second grade moved away, which broke my heart, but some of my school friends just drifted away to do other things with their lives and we lost touch. I've also been through a divorce, which was a big loss at the time. Two of my closest friend from college are hanging in there, despite major medical problems, so I cherish our times together. 3. Were you ever in a big fight with one of your friends? Aside from heated some discussions with my ex, I can't say that I have. --------- 1. What was one thing new you learned today? 2. Do you wear slippers around the house or do you prefer bare feet? 3. If you had to eat the same food for a week, what would it be?

2. We all have at least one of those kinds of friends. All you can do is wait for them get their ass in trouble again so you can be there for them to cry on. 3. Realizing some kind of success in my life. My work friends are now trying to nudge me back into working in fashion, this time as my own boss for my own company. My writing is also suffering a bit. But I'm proud to say that my career in cultural institutions is slowly but surely progressing. My problem is that I'm really good at too many things (this is what all my friends and co-workers have told me) and focusing on one thing and being successful at it would be at the expense of the other things I like to do and am good at. I need to concentrate on them one at a time. I think that's what I'm now doing with a career in culture and art education; writing and design can come later. ___________________ Someone else can ask the next set of questions.
