  1. Dunno. Been here for only 4 years, over at JA for probably about the same. But I've been a member of some online communities since the early 90s (before web-based message boards existed). I was first online in the late 80s.
  2. I try to not use bottled water due to the impact that the bottle has on the environment. At home and in the office, I drink filtered water in my own glass and only get bottled water on road trips.
  3. I go for spring water when I can. Some complain about the Pepsi and Coca-Cola products being just filtered tap water and not spring water, but hey, at least it's filtered, so if spring water is not available, it'll do.

1. In the early nineties (not quite sure of the year, might have been anywhere from 92-93) my dad was a betatester for, well, I guess it was Spry software, who made «Internet in a Box». Before that I was using BBS. At the time of BBS, my dad was usually the one instigating the whole thing, since I was like 6-7 years old, I'm pretty sure I browsed BBS's at the time though. I was already messing around in DOS, so I could handle it (just simple commands like CD, tree, dir *.xxx and stuff like that).

2. I guess it was in 93, it was pretty cool. I remember watching X-Files at the time, and we had internet and mail at home - just like Mulder and Scully! Awesome stuff. Not many did have that at the time. And I also remember USENET. That was brilliant, just talking to random people from all over the world was just mindblowing.

3. I think one of the first computers my dad used at home probably had a monochrome screen, but I'm not sure, I don't remember them, I probably didn't use them.

I live next to a Polaroid factory and I've seen it slowly empty during the last 12 years. It's going to be closed this year I heard. Actually I hope they tear it down and put houses there. That would be a perfect place for me to live.

Tsa, you need a long weekend of rest and relaxation. You deserve it.

2. If you had the chance to act in whatever, like a company play or a friends short film, would you take the opportunity?
3. Have you chosen a hairstyle to compliment your face?

1. No. I have tension headaches on a regular basis. My solution is to have a massage at the day spa every six weeks or so.
2. Actually, I met my husband when we were cast opposite one another in a production of a Stoppard play. I love theatre.
3. I think so...

1. Do you consider yourself a well-rounded person?
2. Do you exercise, and if you do, how often?
3. Have you ever been to a wine-tasting?

1. Not really. I have wisdom over intelligence, and don't normally seek more intelligence. I like art more than math, and try to avoid math. The way I see it, I'll try to be the best I can at what I'm good at, and leave the other stuff to people who excel in those areas.
2. Yep, but not much in the winter. Too cold. In the summer I exercise daily, usually for several hours a day. Tennis makes exercise fun.
3. Yes, and I didn't enjoy it. I'm just not a fan of wine (or alcohol of any kind). It burns more than it tastes good. No thanks. Though I had this desert wine once that was pretty nice. No burning.

1. Amsterdam. I love the contrasts and contradictions that coexist here.
2. Yes. However, there would have to be restrictions in place--for example, you wouldn't want people to just pop in on you in the lav. Well, maybe you would, but that belongs in another thread that I probably wouldn't read.
3. No, and no again; I don't want to spend any more time watching television than I already do. It does look life fun, though, so if you (or someone) gets around to seeing it, I'd love to hear about it.

1. Do you like contemporary poetry (Albert Goldbarth, William Meredith, Robert Hass, Seamus Heaney)?
2. Are you looking forward to the new Indiana Jones film?
