Now, now ladies. Calm down. That was a last opportunity snog as Squinky was about to become "the man" and I'm not a "the man" snogging sort of guy.
You two are welcome to snogs any time, especially if you avoid gender reassignment operations. (Pointless aside. The Inland Revenue detailed guide to PAYE has a section on change of gender. It makes it clear that you must NOT accept an Interim Gender Recognition Certificate. Only a Full Gender Recognition Certificate will suffice for changing someone's sex for PAYE purposes. Page 16 of CWG2 for anyone desperate enough to be interested) < snogs Jelena and bulldog silly (which is easy) then tries to snog them sensible (which is a lot harder )

The only real difference is the date state pension age entitlement hits (which affects your NIC contributions) though there are a handful of other things that could only possibly apply to one sex or the other.

It annoys me, women are always campaigning for equal rights, but they don't complain about retiring early. Seeing as women live longer anyway, they should be forced to retire later than men.

*wails and moans, gnashing his teeth and excoriating himself mercilessly* Oh cruel merciless fate, to have taken her very womanhood away before ere we met. Oh cruel, unjust forum, that you should yet breathe freely whilst fair Squinky lay unsexed and unloved by all save me is the gravest injustice. Would that it were within my power, I would have you dragged through the streets from the back of the fastest chariot, oh villainous forum.

Actually moves are already afoot to change that (being technically a breach of discrimination laws and all) It's one of those "will happen over several years" changes though.

You see? If only she had chosen the John Wayne Bobbitt model she would've been able to detach it and you'd still have a chance. Blame the anesthesiologist for being too good.

I do open my own damn doors, thank you very much.... lazy.... um who are you calling lazy..... Please, you must have lost your mind somewhere..... My mother would kick me in the ass, if she thought that I wouldn’t do for myself and let a man wait on me hand and foot. If would be different if I couldn’t do for myself…… but I can so I do. Maybe some other kind of a woman is lazy but not this one. I believe that a man opens a woman door because he wants to, not because society tells him that is the correct thing to do. * jumps off her soapbox* By the way Trep, I still love ya

Like I said in the other thread, the chivalrous men keep getting in the way. And that stick Trep gave me doesn't seem to be working, either.

If you want the stick to work, all you have to do is wave it at me, and magically, I'll get out of your way.

Eh, I'm tired. Could you wave it at yourself for me?
