Dammit. She's under. I was about to tell her there's a...
4. The John Wayne Bobbitt (good size, and the best part is that it's detachable - nothing like having options)

That can only mean one thing - the Bill Clinton model works like a charm.

Not like them!

I really like Google, so I'm happy about all this. ( No, not the Squinky thingy- what would make me happier is if this whole discussion were kept private. ) The real issue here is that once this deal goes through, Google will effectively own the internet. Make your own value judgements here.

Sorry for even starting all that. I seriously didn't mean for my silly offhand comment to escalate this far.

On the topic of YouTube seeling out to Google: Heh. Told you so.
On the topic of the current Thread Drift: Thank goodness that's over. *wipes sweat from palms, not believing he nearly missed this distressing change of fortunes* |

I've been hearing YouTube referred to as the new Napster. Had it gone on longer, it may have gotten itself in more trouble with broadcasting copyrighted stuff.
That said, without Broadband - I barely watch it. I see a few here and there on my computer in my office if someone has linked to one that looks interesting, I'll watch it. But I don't spend time searching it. I rely on word of mouth and even then, I don't often have the time to watch. Edit: Google's Copyright Nightmare - this contradicts what I wrote in the first sentence. It might be worse. Last edited by Melanie68; 10-10-2006 at 07:23 PM. Reason: add link |

It never would have worked out. He's clearly a 'love 'em and put them under the knife' kinda guy.
