Menial minions? I doubt it. Robsie is his own menial minion.

Yeah. I've spent a fair while posting six hundred termcards into pigeon holes (the places where our post/mail gets put). It's a really, really boring job.
And I should have minions, but they all conveniently disappear when there's actual work to be done . |

I wouldn't trust any source that spells pigeon with a "D"
But it would appear to make sense. Does that make Robsie a postman now? Who needs a three year degree in history, when he's just qualified to work for the Royal Mail?

Ah. Now it makes sense. I was afraid "to check ones pigeon hole" meant something completely different.

I've often wondered where people get the motivation for mundanities.
I just wouldn't do it.

It was the only source regarding "pidging" (which RLacey wrote with a "D", I note) that Google found me.
I didn't trust it at the time, though, since it made no sense to me.

I knew what he was talking about once "Pidgeon hole" was mentioned.
We had those too in my school. At least we prefects had. Sometimes they were called "In box" or "Mail Box", but I knew them as "Pidgeon Hole". I never heard "To pidge" though, so it must really be a mainly Oxfordian term. -

Robsie had to do all his work by himself, he ran out of things to whine about.

You have no idea how much it depresses me to effectively be told that I whine about everything (as true as it may possibly be)...

Put a cork in that whine!
Nah, whining is good, I could moan for England.

What's with the 'Moaning for England' stuff. You guys need to shut down the whole country and come party with us

The only way you could convince them to shut down Limeyland would be to point out that it would be a good excuse to whine. But then, they are famously talkative, so we'd have to toss them out after a couple of parties.

There was all that stuff about Walther PPKs and thread-kiliing. More like quartz before pigs if those are the ones you mean.
