Well, I'll put my favorite heroes.

Since I tend to love the first person adventures the most I would have to say that my favorite hero in adventure games is Myself. Most first person games you are playing a nameless character or yourself. Of course there are also games where you are playing a particular character in first person. So even though there are many characters I liked and liked playing as the only one that I would consider as my hero is Tex Murphy. As for the third person games and again there are many characters that I liked, the only one that I would consider a hero is Kate Walker.

So there you have it. In order of preference my hero's are...

Myself
Tex Murphy
Kate Walker

Oscar i guess that we almost agreed to keep the NPCs out of this thread for now!,
and i suggest Osacr you make a parallel thread for NPCs which would be a very nice idea so we can threw two polls at the end one for The Heroes and another for the NPCs.

I don't mind, it's your poll. I never really understood the distinction people make between NPC and player-character. A memorable character is a memorable character to me, doesn't matter if I'm controlling him/her or not

The thread is about "heroes", not "characters", hence the distinction...

i surely i understand OSCAR, but the point is at the end we want to make a fair poll when the AG site only offers 15 choices per Poll so imagine then how many NPCs would be mentioned and then filtered to be added to a poll!!!!

and add to this number of NPCs (infinitive) you can get 10 out of each one single game!! and the hassle would be unbearable when it comes to choose only 15 NPCs runner ups at the end,
it will be UNfair for all of those great NPCs characters nevertheless to the members who chose them as you cant satisfy all of their tastes....

excuse me it will be just useless. to mix them with the heroes also because eventually those latter would win one way or another.

That is what we got so far, 15 heroes ...so 1st surely i thank all the participated members ...2nd i would like to ask if you guys think we can start the Poll now with those or in another way; do you think that those 15heroes really reflect the best/runner ups of all adventure games?, or maybe we still need more time and maybe we can have others heroes to be added or maybe replace that they could be more worthy mentioning or we just missed them.
