I bought the book and I think it's excellent, I heartily recommend it. But as for a color pdf version I think it is a bit superfluous considering all you have to do is google the net for screenshots.

My copy arrived today, and it is SPECTACULAR. This is the closest most of us will ever come to playing many, many of these games. It is a critique and a museum at the same time. Congratulations, Kurt.

This book is fantastic. As I looked over the list on the website, I was disappointed to not see certain games on it (Conquest of the Longbow, Blue Cheese.. er Blue Force, Manhunter), but a lot of these games are indeed reviewed.

Discovering and playing obscure point and click adventure games is my passion, and this book is the best companion I could possibly ask for.

Are there any plans set for future books? Perhaps.. a horror game companion?

Next up is a book focusing on Konami, so it's more on console and arcade games than computer stuff.

One of my writers did express interest in writing a book about horror games. Of course, then we drafted together a list of everything that could legitimate termed a horror game and it ended up being massive, so we would certainly have our work cut out for us!

It all depends on whether they choose to stock it or not. For instance, Amazon UK at the moment doesn't, although there are third party sellers. But Amazon DE does.
