Awesome.

Who'd have thought it was true? Well, most of it.

The artwork looks great, jugding from that cover image and I love Jack Black and Double Fine. So, I'm anxiously awaiting more info!

It is amazing how many rumors as of late have turned out true (The PS3 price changes, the 360 price changes, the Double Fine new game). Even the guy who said Bungie was splitting from MS turned out to have been saying the truth. Like Mel said, it's funny how hard folks try to deny these rumors.

As far as this game goes, I have no doubt it will be awesome just because Tim is working on it. I personally don't have much of a liking for Jack Black, but maybe he'll entice more people to buy the game.

Anyone knows what type of game will it be?

Couldn't he have teamed up with some real Rock'n'Roll motherfucker like Motörhead's bad-ass Lemmy instead?

I mean, the prospect of two zany guys like Schafer and Black banging their heads together sounds interesting, but where's the spice and pepper? The ying to the yang? The Alpha to the Omega? The AC to the DC? I'm pretty damn sure this will be a game to watch out for anyways, though.

I didn't read it myself, but that's what the gamespot article claims:

From Gamespot:
"The magazine is also reporting that the game will feature "a stable of heavy metal legends" in addition to Black, and is being developed for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3."

GameInformer is sometimes infamous though for ignoring the PC platform, so hopefully, it is just a matter of them not mentioning it, rather than it being true.
