C'mon, guys. Echo Chrome is really the standout from all three conferences. I'm not even kidding. I really hope that game comes out on some other platforms I might actually have.

The more I think about it, the more I'm so disappointed with Nintendo's conference. I hope they reveal some games at TGS. And $500 is still too expensive for a PS3, if you ask me.

A Bourne game? I don't know why I'm surprised about that. It seems like the perfect IP, what with the amnesia and all. The trailer didn't look like anything in the movies, though, and didn't seem to realise what made them great (sometimes it's exciting to have things NOT blow up). You are right, the Wii has a geat user base already, and should remain sucessful. However i think there are a few points to note about the Wii.

1.) the games thus far have on the whole been fairly dissaponting, with the exception of a couple

2.) Developers are staring clear of the console for any next gen style games because the hardware just cannot support it

3.) the amount of new fully fledged , titles will continue to be very limited, with developers focusing their efforts on next gen content for the other consoles.

So, really the initial sales are enough to sustain the Wii, but it may be retired early in favour of a console that doesnt contain a decade old hardware. And if it is to stick around for the same time as the other two, i think it will fall into its own market of being a game Toy for children and those who dont play video games (that is already the target market i guess), rather than being perceived as providing a satisfying gaming experience for Gamers.

1) Totally decribes the PS3.

2) Developers will make games designed for the Wii. Proving that you don't need the power of the PS3 to make decent games.

3) Not true for one very good reason.

There is a huge market for the games. Why make a game with potential sales of 4 mil when you can market it to 9 or 10 million users.

4) Zelda and Metriod Prime will prove that as well as the mass market games there are games for the hardcore.

Silent Hill 5 is coming to the Xbox 360 as well as PS3! I was waiting for that announcement! The trailer gave me goosebumps, though it was obviously a teaser with none of the token Silent Hill creepy thingies in there. But I am fully expecting this game to make me shit my pants again. Hopefully it'll be a return to form again after the rather off number 4.

Mass Effect is the single xbox exclusive I care about, a game that I expect pop up on PC next year. No other important 360 games are exclusive.

Consider me unimpressed of 360 for now. If I grabbed a new console I would stick to the japanese market for sure (Wii or PS3). I have grown up with storydriven adventuregames and storydriven games is still what I enjoy. Extremely few american developers even try to deliver a good story now and the American games market have grown too predictable with the same games over and over.

I'm holding my breath for Assassin's Creed and Silent Hill 5.

The Prince Of Persia games were really amazing (I'm playing The Two Thrones at the moment) the same goes for the previous Silent Hill games.

I just watched the Wii conference and that was by far the worse of the 3. Half of the time was spent on Fit (For god's sake, if you want to exercise go to a gym), and the other half was spent on gloating and thumping their chest. If this is going to be the future of video games like they put it, then I am finding a new hobby.

With the exception of Pain, I'm really intrigued by all of these. Way more interesting than most everything else I've been seeing out of E3. LittleBigPlanet also seems really cool. Guess I'm an oddball gamer or something.
