Kororinpa, I've had a hard time spoting this game in stores, it looks like a fun puzzle/maze game.

Hopefully by the summer I'll get a Wii. I'll get it for the new games but also for the old ones you can get. I was peeking around eBay and you can get an NES let's say, quite inexpensively but then you'd have to deal with how to hook it up to your TV I'd imagine.

Yeah I got to admit the Virtual Console is a great way of playing older console games without having lots of machines around one TV.

Kororinpa is a lovely game but I have heard rumours it's very short so only playing a bit at a time

So the world is going to be taken over by Karmiillos is it? Can't do any worse than the current lot.

The Wii is the first console I've ever thought about buying. I find gamepads too fiddly to use but I reckon I could wave a Wiimote about.

I got my mother addicted to Bowling, and my father addicted to Golf. And my mom hates games. Its a breakthrough for her, everytime I talked about the Wii before I bought one she laughed and said it sounded pathetic. But now she loves it. And my sister is loving playing the old Mario & Kirby on the Virtual Console.

The Wii is the ultimate console, its the DS x 10.

The problem with Wii like any new console is that there are just no good games to play on it right now. I've had a Wii for about two months now and it's been sitting idle for the last few weeks. Wiisports and Wiiplay were fun for several days but I have gotten sick of them. I've played Zelda and liked it but the fact that it was on Wii really didn't make it that special. I could have gotten a copy for a Gamecube and probably would have had just much fun. So I'm actually thinking about selling it to a friend of mine who wants to get one for his kid. I can always get another one later when there are actually some games I want to play on it. Overall, my Wii experience so far has been quite disappointing.

Your list doesn't have Twilight Princess.

Yep, MoriartyL go it. Twilight Princess is Gamecube & Wii. We're talking WiiWii Exclusives.

I saw a preview of Dewy's Adventure in the official Nintendo Mag, and I must say that game looks very interesting how you can play around with the elemtns and use them as a gameplay mechanic.

Hmm ok then.
I thought nobody bought the GC version.

At least here in Finland it wasn't even sold anywhere for GC.

One of my friends does actually have it for GC, but he imported it from Canada, and has to use Freeloader.

I have it on GCN, and a kid on my street also has it on GCN. Both of us got it in some way from America (We both have American Gamecubes.), since you can't really buy games here in Israel. I like that the map is similar to the previous games- it would be so weird to me to have, for instance, the desert in the east. And the controls work perfectly fine -in fact, better than any of the previous Zelda games- without any gimmickry. I see it as the definitive, original version of the game.

I'm just (finally) hooking up and playing with my wii. I didn't know it could connect to the internet wirelessly out of the box so I'm doing that now. neat! And it's updating... and I am guessing I can create a little avatar like DaSilva said. While I'm creating mine, does anyone else have a Mii avatar? anyone want to play online? (I don't know what you can do online yet though... lol. will find out here in a sec!)

A funny little side note if you don't already know but the Wii version of Zelda is a complete mirror image of the Gamecube Version, something to do with matching the sword hand with the wiimote hand....although I don't know why they didn't just mirror image link

I got lots of Miis!
But as for online games, there are none atm. The Pokemon game is going to be the first online game as far as I know.

Here in Thailand, the Wii is more expensive than the Xbox 360 (hard drive version). That tells you either demand for the Wii is greater, supply is lower or that the seller is trying to rip off Wii crazy foreigners like myself

What is up with the Wii shortages anyway? It's been about 5 months since its release over here and stores are still out of stock....it's getting harder and harder to beleive that its preorders causing it...
