ok i expected this, the two first are pc games, 1 are from around year 2000, 2 are from alittle bit older.
the rest of the games are just from diffrent nintendo consoles... didnt realise that til now... maybe i could have done some more variation.

ok, 8 is a pretty new game, and im pretty sure nobody will ever guess it right, mostly took it to see what you guessed.
and the 7 isnt really easy, couse you really dont think at that serie it belongs to, when you hear it.
the 4 is one of the oldest of the games here and was realeased to super nintendo the year of 1998...
3 is more new then it sounds...

both 1 and 2 are pretty strategi-based (can you say that?)

Jat: It's a codec like mp3, except it's "open" and has better compression-to-quality ratios. Any "modern" audio player should be able to play it. Anyhoo.

Undeaf is right about #3 being the Chrono Trigger Bike Race music.

#2 is not Outrun or Monkey Island... though it is island-related.

OK, here's what I recognise:
# 4 is the fight with the Faerie queen from QfGIV.
The last one is probably the wedding march from KQVI (though I think it's been used in other games too).

Sadly none of these are instantly recognizable to me. Track 12 is driving me nuts because it sounds so familiar but I simply cannot put a name to it. Maybe when I find out what platforms these are from that will help pry the answer loose.

Oh. Bah. I should have got Animal Crossing, but other than that I hadn't played any of Fajer's games.

I really should have got Animang Crossing, though.

hehe, k.k rock (the name of the Anlimal Crossing song) sounds alittle bit to close to "K.K.K Rocks!" to be an coincidence.
also a map on the first zelda game comes in mind, it looked abit to much as a swastika to be anything but a swastika...
