Seriously, though, I think Xen sections were just as good as the rest of the game. What I'd like to find out is what happened to Adrian Shephard, the guy you played in Opposing Force.

"...just as good as the rest of the game." ...then I know you have to be kidding or have a primo crack stash somewhere. Dude, even Valve recognizes its craptacularness. If anything, it sucking is a Communal-Hive-Mind-HL-Fan-Opinion. Its akin to saying the sky is blue...yes, everyone for the most part agrees the sky is blue. Saying you liked Xen or didn't mind Xen is one thing. Claiming its just as good as the WHOLE of HL is like saying a kid on a bike tied to a tree can beat my vette in a race. COME ON INSANE!!!! Thats....thats....INSANE!!! Hehe. ** Disclaimer ** The above post is intended as humor and to be received by any party AS humor and not to be taken seriously or intended as offending. |

Do you know what i just realized? Episode one was HL2 backwards: it statred in the citadel and ended on the train. That's funny.

There was a lot of fun little detail in HL2:EP1 that I loved so much.
Mostly it was stuff that Valve added for Alyx, all that comedic small talk and such was so great.

Some new info on episode 2. Sounding sweet, although I wish Valve would for once stick to their schedule.

Sounds good. I like the that they're adding some significant new elements this time. But Spring 2007? Damn.
I think I preferred Valve's "when it's done" schedule. At least there was less unfulfilled expectation. |

Worry not, it's still on schedule.
But I bet they'll delay it at least a little. EDIT: That Kolzig is one lightning fast fella. And he shoots lasers from his eyes!

Finished this last night. I don't mean to beat a dead horse but it really was awesomely designed. Even more intense than HL2. And the ending, despite the cliffhanger, was awe-inspiring. Just based on HL2 and this Valve is quickly becoming one of my favorite developers, even though I'm not really an FPS fan.
