Sometime ago I bought:

Hey, dear people please buy my games, I need money to conquer Europe! Or do something similar.

Found these on Ebay. Too late I realise these are the NTSC versions and I only have a PAL PS2.
* Doh, doh, doh, doh, ... !!!!*
Can I play them on my PSP or PC?

I use psxfin.

http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/

Thanks for reminding me, I need to upgrade to 1.13.

Let me tell you now that emulators and I don't mix well, but I've barely had a problem getting this one to work. There were some really good pictorial 'how to start up a game for dummies' style posts on the forums too.

The emu is fantastic for both PAL and NTSC games.

its very good, even though i'm only into it 4 hours so far. but its a great port. if you're interested in it i'm sure you have played KOTOR1 and maybe Jade Empire. Its the same quality and even better. the more fast paced action is good and the character art and voice acting is superb.

if you played kotor/jade empire you can get mass effect and more than likely will love it.

I have Gun, The Movies: Stunts & Effects and Mafia on their way to me at the moment, and Mass Effect on preorder (since us Europeans get to pay extra for the privilege of waiting a week longer ).

I had to work up a sweat before I got it up and running in Kubuntu 8.04 (64-bit), but it's all good since it works like a charm now! :-)
I'm looking into the possibility of running the games on my PSP instead since they are somewhat pixelated on my 20" LCD...

Visited my two favourite second-hand game sources in the past three days and went a bit mad...

CEX, Manchester:
Apocalyptica
42 All-Time Classics for DS
Hotel Dusk

Cash Converters:
Shadowcaster
Dark Colony
Enemy Nations
Seven Kingdoms: Ancient Adversaries
Deadlock 2: Shrine Wars

Well I play PSX games on a 34" LCD and it hasn't effected me. I would have loved to have played PSX games on my PSP when I had it.

Metal Gear Solid 4 for me as well. Bought on Thursday morning, finished on Sunday afternoon. Took Thursday through to Sunday off work with the sole intention of running through the game. And what a game it was. My favourite act was number four, for reasons obvious to everyone once they reach it.

SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!
