Yeah, whenever the movie ground to a halt, I just stared at her for awhile. BTW, on some websites, they say Gong Li, others say Li Gong. Why is that? Also, I can't believe she's in her 40's...she looked as young as Hannibal in that film!

I believe the Chinese/Japanese have a naming system that is essentially reverse of ours. So in China you'd say Li Gong but in America we'll say Gong Li.

I know little about the way it is in China, but yes, in Japan the family name comes first, then the given name.

Letters from Iwo Jima - pretty good movie. There were a few parts that too obvious to be saddening, but there wasn't anything else to complain about.

I just watched Snatch.

It's a very funny movie, clearly the best Guy Ritchie has ever directed.

Jason Statham and especially Brad Pitt were excellent in this one.
