Hmm, I don't know, this might be a touch off-topic, but I don't care much for the combination. I've no issues with such a combination other than that it, most of the time, bores me. I prefer metaphors. Maybe because I live my life so carnally, I've mentally banned that from movies. Kind of why I get pissed off at "comedies" who depict total jerks or total morons. Know them in real life, don't need them in the movies.
Or maybe I'm just trying to explain something that doesn't even exist and I just haven't seen the right movie yet.

ROFL! I'm getting more chuckles per capita than most other threads! I'm not sure about renting these movies as I know the guys at the store too well. I always end up discussing the movie I rented - ie today it was Spanglish. Don't know what sort of discussion I'd have when it'd be about the effortless sliding motion of woman on man. Or man on man. Or woman on woman.
Or man on man on woman, in the case of Y Tu Mama Tambien! BTW in the case of 9 Songs, they make a big deal on safe sex and taking responsiblity, but in the same way anyone would in starting a relationship. I can't relate it to a pr0n movie in my head, yet some people would call it that... some reason this conversation reminds me of an art film called Flex by Chris Cunningham, depicting contorting male and female bodies in a display of sexual violence. Very wierd.

Wear a disguise or drive to an area of town where nobody knows you.
Quietly walk in. Hang around in the shop until you are alone trying not to look at the top shelf. Once your alone grab a copy of the movie and rush to the till. Without looking at the person behind the till quietly buy the product shove it in a bag so nobody sees and run out. (Hey it worked when I bought myst IV)

Sheesh!!! It's only sex, man. Do what I do when I used to rent pr0n. Go to where they feature such movies, so that you'll be in good company (everyone else there will be looking, too). LOL!! That reminds me of when my ex and I (when we were together) would plan a pr0n night, and I would go pick out a title. There was a place three blocks away called RJ's, and they specialized in pr0n (mostly gay). One guy who worked there had the most beautiful blue eyes, and he had a crush on me and would always find something nice to say and flash his butter-melting smile. I guess after a few months he got fed up with me not responding so he became increasingly distant. Which was fine with me becaue my ex and I were moving to San Francisco.

I don't think I've ever laughed as hard at every single response in a thread.
A little backstory makes the intimate scenes more believable and credible, so that's a good thing in my book. However, considering the recent events in your life Squarejaw, I can see how this sort of thing might not be your cup of tea at the moment. If you really want to watch it, then watch it, enjoy it, and don't be ashamed. You're an adult and this sort of thing is allowed. It sounds like your little friend has already made his feelings on the subject known, and it doesn't hurt to take his advice every once in a while. I'll tell you what...let this sentence absolve you of any guilt associated with enjoying yourself: SQUAREJAW! YOU GO WATCH THAT MOVIE RIGHT NOW AND DON'T YOU POST UNTIL YOU'RE WELL AND TRULY DONE! Now you can always say "I didn't want to, but Scott made me do it". ScottMate

I don't think they've ever been released outside of Germany. I can't remember much about them. The last time the TV stations weren't ashamed enough to broadcast them, I was about 11 or 12 years old (ca. 1991/1992). Just imagine some very goofy Bavarian men running around in their Lederhosen and meeting big boobed Bavarian women all along their way. And then they're getting it on. Nothing explicit. Softporn.
Oh my. There are more of these Lederhosen movies than I thought there were. http://www.imdb.com/find?q=lederhosen;s=all This is funny, though: Certification: Finland: (Banned) (1973) / Sweden:15 Banned? ROFL.
