Default Words you hate

An odd thread, I know. But I'm sure we all have that one word where we just cringe when someone says it.

ME: Celtic

Not Boston Celtic, the ancient Irish culture thing or whatever it is.

Sympatica. Italian for "nice", an English word I don't like either. Worse when used in its plural form "sympatici"... makes me squirm...

"Arse". Makes me flinch.

But I still like our dear Arseferret, Eltsie.

The word automagically is one I've been disliking recently.

No, I just disliked the misspellings of the word "definitely" - like "definately or definatly".

Well, you're not supposed to eat underwear. Of course that will make you vomit.

I know. That's what I said. I just found myself unable to remember the correct misspelling for "definitely".

Wormsie - that's a good definition of automagically!

What? asinine is a great word! Hehe.

I've a pet peeve word (well, phrase, really) in germany at the moment: "Soziale Gerechtigkeit" => "social justice". People wield it like they actually know what it means, or like they could define it. Disgusting.
