I know. It was Czar Peter the Great's fault.

Some years ago, we read a book about Peter the Great in english. We also read one on Catherine the Great, one about the 54th Massachusetts Regiment (in the American Civil War: the first american battalion comprised entirely of Blacks.)(I think it was called "Freedom, Honour and Justice"), and some others.

Quite.

We went to see Nomeansno (thanks for them, Canada), and had planned to drive back home after the show. Things got a little out of control, however.

Well you could have an extended stay and come back on a later flight than your hometown family

Once there, why waste the ticket - visit everyone!!

Default Ah well...

I guess we're not going to Amsterdam after all. My bro-in-law just ordered up an HDTV and whatever accoutrements it needs (expensive tempered glass platform, satellite receiver, DVD burner, etc.). Or maybe he and my sister have some secret monetary stash somewhere.

Whatever. Anyway thanks for all the invitations, guys. I promise I'll try to see as many of you as physically possible next time I'm somewhere in Europe.
