It's snowing outside right now. 2 or 3 cm or snow in Paris... That's doesn't happen very often. It's beautiful, but quite awkward when you're using your car to go to work.

Do you think I should take down the flynet?

To get a feel of what kind of things could happen, you should check out Ang Lee's movie, Ice Storm. Ice storms are very beautiful but it can be very dangerous and deadly.

I'm a big fan of Ang Lee and Ice Storm is a wonderful movie.

I can see you're nowhere near Munich, Jazhara. We've got about 30cm of snow here atm. For the past 4 weeks except for a mid-spell of around 3 days, we've had 20cm+ on the ground and freezing conditions. In fact, I wish I'd had my camera with me when I went to work today as there was a house that had a window imprisoned behind bars of icicles extending the length of the frame - it looked spectacular.

And the forecast is ......... for much of the same for at least the next week. The pavements are a bit treacherous though, especially for the elderly. But the child in me just can't help enjoying this weather.

Living on the South Coast of the UK, we get this weird weather effect whereby snow falls only once in a blue moon (even when everywhere else is white and powdery). We have actually had some snow, but of the disappear-as-soon-as-it-hits-the-ground type. Feel for me...

It's been snowing in the midlands all day but not a bit has stuck to the ground though.
