Ye, love the style. I also think this way they don't have to spend millions of dollars on photorealistic special effects. Even though this movie doesn't seem to be about effects at all.

Wow, sweet trailer. I might have to read the book before the movie comes out.

I didn't like the look of that. The colors and lighting need improvement.

Looks great. Are they using real actors and applying lots of filters/artists to filmed material?

The trailer looks great, I don't think I'll be seeing the movie ever though because of Keanu Reeves. He's an ass.

Yesterday, on the Daily Show, Rachel Weisz from "Constantine" said something like "Keanu gets really deep into his characters." Immediately I had a flashback of his pothead-surfdude character from "Bill and Ted" saying "Whoa, deep," and started to reminisce about the fact that his style of acting hasn't changed (i.e. improved) since. I wonder why they keep ruining movies with that dumbass?

Tell me This is It

Hmm...the trailer is a little weak in terms of grabbing my attention with a compelling narrative. I will say that I find the concept very interesting and I love, love, love the animation. I'm a big fan of Richard Linklater and have been since Waking Life. I hope Keanu Reeves, Winona Rider, and Woody Harrelson serve his ideas well. I certainly would not have chosen them, but maybe Linklater knows something I don't.
